Robbie is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and mentor known for his positive outlook on life. He founded The Thriving Box Co. in March 2020. Robbie, loves to spend time exploring and taking his young family on new adventures. He enjoys good food and taking long walks in the summer, likely conjuring up his next business idea.
Holly Allen | Founder
Some might say she’s the brains behind the whole operation. Holly works closely with our partners to organise products and stock for corporate orders. She keeps the team happy and somehow maintains a handle on Robbie’s many entrepreneurial ideas. As a mum of two small children with (another) career as a child counsellor, Holly is the ultimate multitasker. In her spare time she’ll most likely be working out on her Peloton or relaxing with a coffee and a doughnut.
Steven Turnbull | Finance Director
Steven is qualified as both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser and oversees the accounting and taxation function of the company. With a passion for tattoos, working out, travelling and an active dislike for golf, Steven is not your stereotypical accountant. A father to two, during his limited downtime Steven likes nothing more than a glass of red wine and a good movie with the family, or watching sports, other than golf of course.
Fraser Edwards | Head of Marketing
Fraser has several years working with a leading behaviour-change start-up, and has joined the team to lead the Marketing team and support Robbie with the boring (fun) stuff like operating processes. An unapologetic lover of good food, dogs and espresso martinis, you'll normally find him in the kitchen with a Nigella recipe or convincing himself that he does in fact need yet another kitchen gadget, failing that, just request Cher at karaoke and he'll come running.
Helen Singleton | Marketing and Events Manager
Beach-lover, adventure-seeker, marketeer and wellbeing teacher and advocate. Helen has joined the Thriving team to spread the word about how to get your team ‘thriving’. After many years working in marketing both in the UK and New Zealand, Helen enjoys spending her weekends at the beach, creating yoga shapes or dreaming up business ideas!
Claire Turnbull | Logistics and Accounts Manager
Claire is a part-qualified Bookkeeper and all round Wonder Woman! She connects the rest of the team and our amazing partners and helps discover exciting new products (who doesn't like a day spent online shopping?!). Whether it’s sorting your delivery, packing up your gift-boxes or filing the accounts, Claire makes sure it’s done on time and with a big, friendly smile! In her free time, Claire loves spending time with her family and two dogs at home in the Scottish Borders. You’ll often find her boxing in the gym, or more than likely, engrossed in a true-crime series with a big glass of wine in hand.
Aisha Fatunmbi-Randall | Content and Social Media Executive
Graduating from her Journalism degree in the midst of a pandemic has been no easy feat, but Aisha has tackled the challenges with eagerness, enthusiasm and a positive outlook. After years contributing towards arts and culture media outlets as a freelance journalist, her most recent role saw her maintaining company social media platforms and developing, producing and delivering social media content and campaigns. She is inspired by creativity, people and the endless possibilities of the digital world. In her spare time, you’ll find her walking her dog around Edinburgh, eating focaccia or longing for the next gig she can attend.
